My hopes for this blog is to share my thoughts on what I have learned about pregnancy, birth and motherhood. It is also a place where other women can share thoughts, resources and help educate each other with all the options that are out there. I feel that we as women need to empower each other so that we understand why we make the decisions that we do and feel good about those decisions. There is no wrong way as long as you have an understanding as to why you have chosen that way. Otherwise we are chosing a misinformed way.

Why this Blog?
I have always wanted children - it is just in my nature to be a mother. I never really gave the process and the journing of becoming pregnant, giving birth and raising a child deep thought until recently. As friends around me became pregnant the more I thought about it for myself.
Having a child is not an easy decision to make. Before making any major decision I do a lot of research, whether it be to buy a car, buy a home, get a degree or find the right job. So it is no surprise that as I try to determine the right time for me to move forward with becoming a mother I am doing a lot of reading and research to figure out how I want to enter into the journey of motherhood.
Through my reading and research I have discovered that there are many ways to start motherhood and be a mother but not everyone takes control of this journey. Through this blog I hope to empower women to fully be aware of their journey and pick the right one for them.
